Injection Blow Molding

This type of molding is used during the manufacturing processes of hollow articles such as bottles, containers and other vessels.

ZIMIA bioplastics made by Prime Biopolymers, offer a similar performance to that of conventional plastics but with the advantage of being environmentally friendly.

In addition, these grades can be processed by conventional machinery.

The bioplastic is melted and molded by injection around a core into a preform.

Subsequently, it is introduced into the mould, the air is injected and the material is expanded until the desired shape of the piece is achieved.

Lastly, the article is cooled, solidified and ejected creating the final product.
