Our presence at Equiplast
After four days of intense activity, Equiplast closed its doors on September 17 at the Gran Fira in the city of Barcelona.
As is well known, this event is a must for the plastic industry. And this edition has been a commitment to digitalisation and sustainability.
This is why, together with Eurosurfas and Expoquimia, this event has aroused the interest of many professionals who visited the event in the midst of an optimistic environment that announced the economic reactivation and the return to the face-to-face event.
In this sense, the event has ended with a very positive balance as it registered about 15.000 professional visitors, which allowed Prime Biopolymers to have access to new business opportunities.
In addition, our director Manuel Suárez participated as a speaker to present our latest success story: Compostable messaging envelopes.
This presentation was made with the manufacturer of the packaging, Moinplast, whose representative was its director Vicente Mompó.
A commitment to the future
Equiplast’s Commitment to boosting the circular economy within the sector has been introduced in a unique section dedicated to sustainability called Rethinking Plastics, an area in which the Prime Biopolymers counter could be found.
Rethinking Plastics has been one of the great attractions of the event because multiple companies in the plastic and packaging sector have shown some more environmentally friendly manufacturing alternatives.
These data show that, once again, Equiplast has been an event with great international repercussion where Prime Biopolymers has wanted to be present to cross borders and give visibility to its new developments.
Specifically, Equiplast 2021 has been a great opportunity to share some details about our materials and our latest success stories.
